Holdings in Company

The directors of ATH Resources announce that on 22 December 2008, the Company received notification from Paterson Quarries Limited that on 18 December 2008, RC Greig Nominees Limited on behalf of Paterson Quarries Limited acquired 500,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the issued share capital of the Company.

As a result of this transaction, Paterson Quarries Limited now holds 1,300,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 3.3% of the Company's issued share capital.

Mr William Paterson (a director and the controlling shareholder of Paterson Quarries Limited), also holds 564,000 Ordinary Shares through RC Greig Nominees Limited, representing 1.4% of the Company's issued share capital.

Mr William Paterson now has an interest in 1,864,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.7% of the issued share capital of the Company.
