Due to anticipated expansion we are currently looking for the following suitably skilled applicants for our Scottish Operations.

The successful candidates will preferably have experience of working in a mine/quarrying environment ideally with a proven track record in their specific field. We are looking for proactive, motivated and dedicated individuals with a passion for promoting high standards in everything they do.

Candidates will be conversant with the reporting duties associated with each of the roles, have the ability to work as part of a team, posses excellent written and oral skills and be competent Microsoft Office Suite users.

With a professional outlook and a desire to make the most of the opportunities that come with these fantastic positions candidates must be able to travel to other ATH Resources sites across the UK to exercise their role related duties as necessary.

Mineral Surveyor / Planner - Fife or Ayrshire

Reporting to the Development Manager successful candidates will be responsible for estates management including liaising with land and mineral owners as well as assisting in land acquisitions. Promoting the company's interests through discussion and representations on local and national planning policy as well as development plan representations, candidates will oversee environmental management works, prepare environmental impact assessments and planning applications as appropriate.

Qualification/Training Requirements

Prospective candidates will be qualified at a minimum at HND level in Mineral Surveying or Mineral Planning will preferably have Chartered Mineral Surveyors Professional Status and be a member of the RTPI or MIQ.
