Due to anticipated expansion we are currently looking for the following suitably skilled applicants for our Scottish Operations.
The successful candidates will preferably have experience of working in a mine/quarrying environment ideally with a proven track record in their specific field. We are looking for proactive, motivated and dedicated individuals with a passion for promoting high standards in everything they do.
Candidates will be conversant with the reporting duties associated with each of the roles, have the ability to work as part of a team, posses excellent written and oral skills and be competent Microsoft Office Suite users.
With a professional outlook and a desire to make the most of the opportunities that come with these fantastic positions candidates must be able to travel to other ATH Resources sites across the UK to exercise their role related duties as necessary.
Fixed Plant Manager - Ayrshire
Reporting to the Operations Director you will ensure that correct maintenance procedures are followed and that all process plant is capable of producing quality products. All plant must be design and maintained in a manner that complies with the site planning permission, health and safety requirements and environmental legislation.
Ensuring maintenance schedules are complied with and expenditure levels are controlled in line with the budget you will be expected to look for ways of improving cost efficiency of the fixed plant by conducting analysis to compare past and present performance.
Qualification/Training Requirements
Applicants should be qualified or willing to work towards a NEBOSH Certificate and preferably possess a HNC(D) in Mechanical Engineering. Excellent man management skills along with financial awareness and strong negotiation skills are a distinct advantage.
