Foreman Fitter Ayrshire

Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Mobile Plant workforce on your site. Excellent communication will be key to the role as you will be responsible for liaising between the Plant Manager, General Foreman and Chargehand in respect of the machine downtimes, scheduled and unplanned works along with staff availabilities and workloads in addition to attending the weekly production meetings to raise and solve issues. Above all you will ensure that safe practices are the priority.

Other duties include control of contractors on site, monthly reconciliation of breakdowns, filling in weekly time sheet, daily monitoring sheets, control of oil stores / grease stock on site, control of parts being ordered and goods received, tool box talks, ensuring employees adhere to policy and procedure and on a monthly basis inspection of power tools, lifting equipment, blocks and stands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual to work within our mobile plant division; the successful candidate will be suitably qualified or be willing to work towards qualifications, along with good IT skills.
